I've started making a Lenalee 1st uniform cosplay myself, and I would hear if you've made yours in a whole suit, or in two parts? (as a blouse and skirt)

I made it in two parts. (;
The skirt as a skirt, and the jacket by it self.
The belt at the bottom is also sewn to the jacket.
Hmm.. I don't know how to put it. But hope it helped a little..
I would like to take a picture of it, but I'm not very fond of the costume anymore. ^^"

It's hard to say actually, how long time I use on each costume... Of course it depends of the difficulity of the individual costume.
Honestly, I have only made 4 costume total since I started cosplaying november 2008, so I'm not very talented yet in sewing skills.
That means it have taken me long time for each costume to figure out how to make it possible to make. I haven't been using tutorials or patterns. (which is not recommended, it makes it much more difficult. I know that now.) I drew the patterns myself from eyesight, and hoped it would turn out well when I was done.. I've been, well rather - lucky (eyesight, dies.).. ^-^
For example. My Naruto cosplay was in real not insanly difficult to make. It took me some time though also because I spread it to lots of day, instead of intime working.
But all in all, maybe it would have taken me a week, with about 4-5 hours a day.
And there again because I'm not talented, and haven't experienced different sewing methods.
Well.. I hope it helped..
